Rockery

First I would to say this cafe was very hard to find even though it’s across the road from my office. There’s no rockery signage outside the cafe, the only place to confirm it’s rockery was on the menu! The cafe is located outside Grosvenor’s place facing the fountain thanks to google images. Rockery had $2 coffee promotion on the hey you app that’s how I discovered this place. Coffee was decent but not perfect. Wait time was poor. The cafe its self is well presented especially the shelving behind the counter showcasing all their wines and spirits., but lacks seating which seems more like a takeaway place. The coffee machine is a cool though, which allows you can see straight through.

Eeek I love this place but my last two experiences have been pretty average - I hope they get their act together! Today's salad has so much chili in it, it is inedible. I think at least 12 chilies must have been used as my salad is covered in red flakes. Yesterday the produce was dry and tasteless compared to the usually fresh ingredients they use.

Rockery itself is an amazing place, however this morning I wanted to have a cheese & tomato toasty. The girl that was taking my order looked up at me like I did or say something wrong, she asked.. “Ham & Cheese?” I said no I do not eat ham, just a cheese & tomato, the way she looked again and said we can make one but hmmmm, ( In exact words ) I was just like forget it’s okay. Great start to a Monday. 👍
