Great and friendly staff. Fish and chips were a little blend, but the pulled pork burger and open steak sandwich was excellent. Roasted garden salad was refreshing.

Right on the Lake!! Lamb was excellent! Also the scallops and arancini were so unique and fantastic!!! Wonderful meal!!! Try it when visiting Lake Wanaka !

Wonderful! Food was terrific. Best steak I've eaten in a very long time. Done to perfection. Hubby had the fish pie and loved it. Service was very friendly and I'd definitely recommend this place for anybody local or passing through.

Had the venison and pork ribs. Huge meal, tasty and beautifully cooked. Atmosphere is a bit crowded but i gess that means its popular with the locals

Beautiful views of the lake from inside. Service was incredibly friendly and helpful. Everything was good but the appetizers and especially the Fish goujons were amazing.

A week on, still delighted by the warmth and attentive service we received from the crew, especially Tanya and Max (sorry if I messed up the spelling!). They are all absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome. (Thanks for taking care of my mum while we went to the Rocky Mountain 🫶😜)
The chef served up amazing, delicious food - we had grilled prawns, gnocchi and fish and chips! The portions were very generous too. Highly recommend making a stop here for top-notch service when visiting the charming Wanaka!

The lady proprietor or owner provides amazing service and made us feel so welcomed. Hands down best service we've had in New Zealand. Unfortunately, the food fell a bit short of expectations. Fish & chips were mediocre and ribs were way overcooked and could not finish it as it was inedible. Would visit again for drinks though.

We had lamb blackstrap and the beef steak with arancini balls entree. The food was fantastic and filling and the service was 10/10. I think we had the manager serve us and she was so lovely and really made our night. Will definitely be back if we are ever back in Wanaka

Amazing food
Great beer choices
But poor service - the way we got greeted & the way our order has been taken while ordering our food at the counter was terrible, there was no smile on the waitress face, was bit arrogant behaviour body language, the way she delivered coffee was terrible.
Noticed this as i am a restaurant manager from Auckland.
Hospitality is all about service!
