Red, White & Que Smokehouse

First off it smells amazing in this place lol. The service was excellent and quick! Me and my family ordered ALMOST everything on the menu, as they were sold out of pastrami. The brisket , pulled pork & collard greens w ham hock was AMAZING. Also the chili brisket macaroni & cheese is to die for . I also thoroughly enjoyed my creme soda that they sell. I’m giving 3 stars because the buffalo chicken was really dry and over cooked, the ribs were also dry which was disappointing. I thought buffalo wings would have some sort of buffalo sauce on it or have some type of spice but no, it tasted like grilled dry chicken wings. Me and my family agreed that we will be back just to try pastrami and get brisket & pulled pork.

Came here with a friend to eat and I'm really disappointed. This place has a following from the Kearny location and it does not hold up. We paid 41 dollars for the food pictured below and it was dry and way over seasoned. They were out of alot things which I understand because it's a bbq place. The service from the cashier left me not wanting to revisit this place. There are currently 5 employees on shift all standing around talking and laughing. I had to go on expedition to find utensils. You would think that if someone was walking around looking for something, one of the first employees would ask what I needed. I can't even finish my food from the disappointment I feel from this place. Second photo to show I couldn't even stomach the rest.

The food was delicious!!! The brisket was AMAZING!! The pastrami was good but a little too dry for my taste. Delicious Mac n cheese, the kimchi was the best I've ever had. And they inhouse made BBQ sauce was divine. Definitely recommend, if you are craving some BBQ. The staff was super friendly and welcomed me with open arms as it was my first time.

First, I will say that they are really polite, but this place has literally put a bad taste in my mouth. I ordered over $75 worth of food yesterday for my team and what I received was not what I paid for. They show pictures of food being well prepared but the food received was just terrible. They ended up refunding the chicken but not the rest of the items. I just don't understand how they would feel comfortable serving patron this bs. I guess they consider their own loss before the customers.

I’ve visited each of their spots the Original the one in Scotch Plains and now right here in Green Brook. Some of these reviews are silly people complain about the littlest things. The food is awesome the owners are great. Their story and passion, community service and their support of Veterans and First Responders is refreshing.As a Veteran and First Responder it’s an awesome place. My daughter loves the food and decor her first authentic BBQ Experience was a success. Hey you want good food your going to have to wait but it’s worth it. I went on Memorial Day line was long but moved. They’ve been open a week with any business they are trying to figure out customer demand in a new location. I’ll be back soon with some patches for the wall.

I'd love to try it, but I went 3 times and no matter what time I go, they're out of pulled pork and most of the meat. I personally don't care for pastrami and brisket. I understand it's only been a week, but something isn't running right if you're out of your most popular items by 330pm.. Edit to 5*! I went on lunch time for take out! Food is delicious! The wait time wasn't too bad and everybody is super nice! Well definitely go back!

What a great little place! Too bad we found this so late and they are moving to a different location where they will have indoor seating and a BYOB. Currently for another few days located in Kearny New Jersey and the food was incredible, brisket, nice and tender. The pastrami was melting in your mouth and the ribs were smoked to perfection. The staff was attentive, very talkative, and definitely love what they do. Speaking of a few people on the street they will be missed in this area
