Menchie's Frozen Yogurt

Planned a small road trip here with my friends and sister. The idea of it was fun, we expected to walk in and see a bunch of toppings and flavors, and even though there weren't THAT many, they still had a good variety of options to choose from. The indoor seating was fair, and there was outside seating which looked nicer, but we just sat inside. The cashier Amanda could've been more helpful. We weren't completely clueless but a little bit of information would've been nice. She greeted us when we first walked in, but didn't greet us when we went to check out. There also isn't a guessing game like Mikey's. I will say this though: they charge 53 cents an ounce. That's 5 cents more than Mikey's in Sandusky. Overall, it was an okay experience. It was a 45 minute drive here and the Menchie's in Sandusky permanently closed a few years ago, so this was the closest one. We probably wouldn't come back just for this, unless we're in the area for something more important, THEN we might stop here on the way back. Other than that, it might be a one-time visit for me. The road trip there and back was fun though.

I has the worst experience at the Avon Menchies. The Vanilla and Chocolate were sour and I did not pick the vanilla Tart. Yuk. The employee was rude I asked her if there was more peanut butter topping and she said yes I was waiting for you and the kids to Finish. Uh hello I wanted that to put on mine before I realized that it was sour..... my son had the same thing as me ans it was dsgusting.... meanwhile she was on her phone when I was asking her really..ugh.. I am extremely disappointed and have never had an experience like that before...

This menchies was horrible. Why? Lack of customer service. There were two young women working and they were both rude and uninviting. I observed them when other customers came in after. They did not greet anyone, they kept looking people up and down as if judging them.They reminded me of the uppity type of women or bullies in high school, "you can't sit with us" type of girls. They did not say have a nice day either. They literally are just girls that just stand there and judge you because they are bored and seem to hate their life. The menchies in Lakewood is so much better because they greet you and offer assistance and they smile. I only went to this one because I was visiting my mom and I wanted to take her out to get a nice treat. At least their nasty attitude made for a great table conversation for me and mom.
