don’t bother unless it’s the only thing open. service was non existent and food was nothing to write about if you’re visiting borrego springs for a few days, do yourself a favor by bringing your own food from the nearest town like temecula or lake elsinore. nothing is good here. on top of that, their pricey for what you get. or if you happen to be staying at la casa, their food offerings here was a little better

Our first time here. Very clean, friendly. Inside and outside dining. Great amount of choices for breakfast. The coffee was perfect. Kind of hard to locate the entrance. But worth the hunt. I had eggs with biscuit and gravy, my husband Spanish omelet, both were delicious and eggs over easy perfect. Going back in morning for breakfast again before we head out of town.

So glad this place was open for breakfast on Thanksgiving Day 2020. Bonus was the friendly and fast service, plus very tasty and yummy food!! I had the SPANISH OMELET and my kids both had KENDALLS BIG BREAKFAST. Good portions and delicious. The Spanish Omelet is basically a cheese omelet topped with Mexican style sauce, mouth watering!! Left with full tummies and a smile. My kids enjoyed their plates. The only comment they had was regarding the sausage links, they're sweet. Have a maple flavor to them. We like our sausage links more traditional flavor. Other than that, it was good 👍

The truth of the situation is you are now in or shortly will be in Borrego Springs searching for good food, service, and aesthetics. First time for us and we were interested in finding a better choice for a good breakfast other than the $25 a person buffet where we stayed. Think of Denny's but a smaller venue. The food is in the "average" zone. Portion size normal, omelet on the small size, hash browns were Denny's quality. The kind of food which is on the bland side. The coffee (Farmer Brothers). I'm spoiled, I like real coffee! The side order of fruit [extra] was very good. Asthetics, crowded and designed to "keep'em moving.". Service was decent for a busy little joint. Overall, not impressed. Rating would fall in the range of 3.4-3.8 🌟's Bon appetite!
