El Borrego

Had dinner there for the first time, the food didn't take too long. Really wonderful staff, indoor and outdoor seating available. They charge a 35 cent surcharge for card usage. My boyfriend and I had the carne asada fries and the chicken breast wrap with Chipotle (spicier than the average fast food chipotle!!!). We also ordered a sangria señorial, a sprite and an orange Fanta. Total (with card fee) was about $23. Also ordered a super chicken burrito with rice, beans, lettuce, tomato, guacamole, sour cream and cilantro. They have Wifi here as well.

We love this place for authentic Mexican food , but the atmosphere is like no other place I know. We sit outside in an area ringed by mountains . Underneath rhe tables and chairs is fairly good quality carpeting , which is why we call it the "Carpet Cafe ". Good food , honest people and good service.

I really like this little place. Has a real Mexico atmosphere. I like most things on the menu. The shrimp here are amazing. I was reluctant to try fish out here in the middle of the desert. Finally broke down and tried a shrimp wrap, oh so good. Them we tried the shrimp cocktail, OMG it is so good. It is huge with A LOT of big shrimp that are kind of snappy crunchy because they are so fresh. They come in a cold tomato base with fresh celery and cucumbers. What a treat.
