Rams Hill

Did a “stay and play” on a Friday and Saturday. The course was in good shape. Very playable - challenging but not brutally so. The staff at the course were all incredibly nice - from the starter, the pro shop staff, the wait staff, to the golf course staff. They even provided free homemade cookies and street tacos during the round. 😋 I definitely recommend this course. I coordinated the stay and play package through the course and was helped by Robert Reid. He was very responsive and took care of everything. Go visit and support the town of Borrego. It’s a great place!

This place was awesome! I have played across the country, and at over a dozen top 100 courses. This course is one of my favorites. You might think this course is way out of the way, and it certainly is. But it is worth the journey. Every single hole is a piece of beauty carved out of the desert. There is constant views of the desert, and the mountains. You will constantly have your camera out taking pictures. The course is certainly challenging, but presents plenty of opportunity to score. The greens roll at a great speed, and roll incredibly true. I would certainly suggest making the trip to this amazing property.

Did stay and play, 2 nights, 2 rounds of golf, the entire staff from wait staff to Marshall to grounds crew were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Free street tacos mid-way through a round and cookies upon completion. The course was nice. We played PGA West 2 weeks ago and I’d choose Rams Hill 100 times over PGA West for overall experience.

Visited your lovely golf course today. Beautiful indeed! However we ate in the restaurant, 8 of us and actually this was a second visit for many of us out of country visitors. My hamburger was quite disappointing indeed, as the burger was at best “Luke warm” & bun also very dry! A few of us had ordered this meal and even wondered if it was a re-heat or even home made????

I have been coming here for years to Rams Hill, memberguests and so on. The last 3 years I have been very disappointed in the conditions of the golf course, last year you said there was fungus, this year it's even worse, what is going on, I have seen this course where you couldn't even find a divot in the fairways! This needs to be addressed by ownership, not funding enough for maintenance or what? The staff is great, the service is always top notch! Sorry to be critical, but I work at a golf course in Oregon, if our fairways looked like this we would be run out of town!
