From the minute you see this place it screams Hawaii!!!! From the interior decorations to the food it's a taste of the local Hawaiian delights. Being born and raised in Hawaii I've had my fair share of plate lunches and this bold it's own. If you are a local lover's Hawaiian plate lunches or just want to have a taste of home this is a hidden green. It's a must go!!!!

This review may be biased, seeing as my doctor never fails to comment on my soft spot for plate lunch. I think this place will satisfy the craving for most people, offering a limited but sufficient selection. I got the garlic chicken - the flavors were great and the portion size was larger than average, but this was also accompanied by an above average price. Worth a try.

Had a really great first meal here the other day. Crisp/fresh chicken that definitely tasted made to order. House made teriyaki sauce and super friendly service. Will be returning!

At first we were greeted with a friendly "Aloha" and truthfully it was a top notch experience throughout our visit. We just came to get some Manapua but they also have a plethora of tasty combo dishes and an assortment of musubi which we will have to try on our next visit. Island Ali'i overall is a must try for those looking for an authentic Hawaiian meal!

Vary vary good, it is oh so delicious! The serving size are big and the service is absolutely amazing! If you love Hawaiian bbq or are looking for food that is filling then look no further.

Everything was on the salty side. Lumpia came with no sauce. Garlic chicken was extremely salty. Moco loco was the best.

I'm not from Hawaii, but the food here seems very "authentic" to what I've come to know as "Hawaiian BBQ." The portions are big and it's obvious they put effort into the presentation of your meal, too. Everything was hot and fresh tasting. Great food and great customer service! This will be one of my new favorites!
