Che Gaucho

From the moment we walked in, the owner greet us warmly. The place is cozy and the ambiance is perfect for a date night. We ordered a parrillada and let me tell you, it was nothing but sizzling goodness. In top of that, there was live tango, which was the cherry on top. This place is a true gem in Charlotte and would highly recommend it if you like your steak. Get yourself a pisco sour, its truly tasty

We went to Charlotte, NC for the weekend to celebrate my mom's Birthday! When we travel we always look for good authentic Argentinean and or Cuban restaurants however, we don't always find them to be truly authentic. When we decided to try Che Gaucho we didn't know what to expect but from the moment we walked through the door the customer service was phenomenal! We quickly got very acquainted with the family that runs the restaurant, they are from Chile and their cook is from Uruguay. They were all so nice and Nico (our waiter) was great and gave some great suggestions for our meal! The food was incredible and 100% authentic!! The empanadas are definitely drool worthy, the milanesas are huge, and the parrillada..... simple no words to describe the rich flavors and the tenderness of the meats!!! We loved it so much we decided to go back the next day for dinner before heading back home! I had their Chivito sandwich which took me right back to my vacation in Uruguay many years ago! I have tried so many places in search of that authentic flavor, and I finally found it!! Their desserts (specially their alfajores) are delish, and they also have the typical Chaja Uruguayan cake which was really good too!! All in all, if you're in town and looking for a that home cooked Argentinean/Uruguayan meal taste you only get at home, I highly recommend this place for sure!! Nico along with everyone else will take wonderful care of you, and you will leave with your tastebuds satisfied 😌

Had dinner here today with my wife. Had a great experience. We got the Parrillada for 2 which consists on many different cuts of meat and sausages, it was great just like a good South American BBQ. Will definitely go back. The attention was great and the owner was very attentive. Give this place a try you'll be happy you did. O and the enpanadas were delicious as well. Had a beef and a cheese one also.

Our first time there we really enjoyed the food , very generous portions and very tasty, we ordered the meat empanadas, rib eye, and combination of 3 blood sausage, intestines and sweet bread ! Delicious got left over for my next day lunch 😐 reminds me Buenos Aires! The waiters were very friendly and ready to accommodate our needs ! I know are under new ownership but I think with little time will get much better managing everything, running a restaurant is no easy! Room for improvement for sure We are coming back soon! Also we loved the tangos music, fun place and important to support the Hispanic business 🌸
