Sogo

Celebrated a beautiful friends birthday at her chosen restaurant. Six of us gathered and had a good time being entertained by our chef as he worked his culinary magic on the grill. I enjoyed my fried rice and my friends were overjoyed with their hefty plates of food. Happy Birthday my Sweet and Salty Sister!

First, the experience is cool in itself with having the food cooked in front of you, however, have some complaints about the food. We received some chicken broth which was just ok, then a salad which had way too much and very watered down sesame dressing on it. Couldn’t eat most of it because the lettuce was swimming in watery dressing. Then my mother-in-law and young son ordered steak and couldn’t eat any of it because it was so tough and chewy. My MIL got a $9 refund because of it, but we didn’t get any offer of money back for our son’s steak even after the waitress knew his was also tough and he couldn’t eat it. The food overall was just “ok.”Tasted to me like just another express take out Asian food place, and honestly, I’ve had much better food at those places. I just expected better quality food for the money (it’s pricey IMO) and being that type of restaurant. We won’t be back, sorry!

This was I believe like only the second time ever going to a place like this with the food being cook in front of you and mostly shared through out the others ariynd the table. I do have to say that this was was better than the 1st. The people was friendly and the FOOD my my the FOOD was absolutely amazing it was well worth the price per person of a little over $20-$25 or so. Definitely got a tummy full with leftovers for the ride home. We had just left from the 2022 graduation and from what I gather everyone with my party or 12 was more than pleased. I for sure will be returning when I am in North Carolina again seeing how I am from South Carolina Greenville. The only thing I didn't like was the wait for of sets they had just opened so I was unsure as too why the wait but with 12 ppl they may had to wait for us all to get in the same area. Not sure but the meal made up for the wait.

OMG. Me & my Son arrived at 445 pm, they open @ 5 pm on Sunday 6/5, there was a line to get into the restaurant. I understood why, they hv early bird special for 2, and because the food was awesome. It was sssooo much food I had enough left overs for 2 more days. We will be going back, it was worth the price. A very satisfied customer…. FYI-the do not have menus, you need to look up menu online, especially if your 1st time.

Went tonight with a party of 8. We were told an hour wait and it was exactly almost an hour no problem with that at all. I did sit at the bar in hopes of being served a drink while I waited. I asked someone thay came to the bar if I could order a drink right after I sat down they said that "They would notify the bartender" I sat down at 6:18 and at 7:03 I got a drink. When we got our food I told my friend am I crazy or is there ZERO flavor. She said the same thing that hers had no flavor at all (Except for the appetizer shrimp). Well to add her 9 year old daughter & 5 year old son who love habachi wouldn't eat theirs either, straight up told the cook it tastes like water and it was nasty. Obviously we told them that was rude, even though it was right. I had the same experience when I ordered to go food here a couple years ago. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place on any circumstances ur better off going to SOGO EXPRESS on George w Liles and paying half the price. They always have good food seasoned perfectly. Yes, you don't get thr same experience but your food has flavor.
