Barraco's Pizza & Restaurant

I have frequented pretty much all the Barraco's over the years. Last Friday I arrived back from Mexico and wanted some Deep Dish. I ordered take out for a large half Sausage, Pep and half Jalapeno Canadian Bacon. I have to say in 30 years living in the Chicago area this was probably the top deep dish I've ever had. Whoever made this pizza killed it!

Dinner for two (my 5 yr old and myself) on a Friday evening around 5pm. We requested a table and the young woman sat us next to what appeared to be a homeless man sleeping at the table. We moved, but it wasn't because of the sleeping man. The table we were seated at was extremely wobbly (2nd table from the back wall, on the right). We ordered a kids spaghetti with a side of meatballs and a chicken fettuccine with broccoli. The fettuccine came with a side of either salad or soup. The soup options were minestrone and cream of chicken. I chose the cream of chicken and it was pretty good. They brought us a basket of bread with butter, and some parm/cheese. The young woman attended us well. The food was hot, but the taste was lacking in flavor. My daughter had to use the restroom, so we went and there was dried urine on the floor by the toilet. We washed our hands and asked for the rest of our food to go. The kid spaghetti comes with ice cream for dessert, so my daughter was disappointed when we got home and it wasn't included. Probably won't be coming back.

Ordered delivery - Chicken Parmigiana. It's enough to feed two people. It's incredibly delicious. Perfect amount of sauce, pasta, chicken, and cheese. Add a little parmesan, opens the flavor. Slightly spicy and slightly sweet. More spicy than sweet Honestly, this is two to three meals for me. It's very good and I will continue to order from here. I love this place. Additionally, I wish they gave each chicken breast the same amount of cheese and sauce. Just wish they gave butter for the bread but that's a moot point. Really wish Google would let us rate service and food.

Had a girls night out with food and Drinks and was served 2 terrible drinks that were supposed to be a peach Bellini and a Pama-tini. The waitress told us that she could not take the drinks off of the table and not once said anything about not being able to take the drinks off of the bill. We ordered different drinks at that time. The bill comes and the terrible drinks are still on there. We ask for a manager and he says that per company policy they can not take drinks off of the bill and then shows us the food menu with some low fine print about what I can assume was blah blah blah I can mess up your drink and you will still charge for it because we feel that we can. We asked for to go cups so we can at least that the terrible Martinis home and fix them. We were told that is "super illegal".

I love the pizza from here. Ordering online was easy to do, and it didn't take that long to be delivered. The driver called when showing up to drop off the delivery which was nice to know so that I could grab my food quickly. The price is a little high but with how their pizza is it kind of makes up for it.

I visit this place often for dinner and family occasions, during the day they have the most sweetest & attentive staff. This is my fourth time visiting at night, around 10:00pm-Midnight and received really bias service from Meagan and the other bartender working, for example; upon entering I was told “the kitchen is closed” but they proceeded to bring out a (2) pizzas and more food for workers that were hanging out. So I ordered a pizza online, for pick up; and was able to get my food that way. I talked to Mike (General Manager) regarding this situation and he was appalled to hear about this, please don’t let these type of people ruin a good business.

Disappointed in the Service provided placed my order for a Chopped Salad with NO BACON and verified with the Associate on the phone that there is No Bacon and he said yes. Order was delivered and guess what Salad had Bacon Bits in there and I called them and the associate told me no problem we will deliver a new one too you. I waited 1 hour and they called me and it was the manager and he made me take a photo of the salad and I did send it to him and told him I don’t even want a new salad just refund me please and he said sure whatever and hanged up never will ever go here again horrible service will and fries were soggy and pizza was mostly sauce
