Captain D's

I'm very disappointed and dissatisfied with Captain D's . On Sunday l noticed the texture of the battered fish was different but l thought maybe my taste buds are off for some reason. Therefore l went back today to the same location on 4/15/22 and ordered the same meal and again it had the same texture. I called the restaurant and the young lady told me that they changed the fish from the Pollock fish to another white fish because they were having difficulty getting the Pollock fish shipment in and the cost of seafood has gone up. I asked her what was the name of the new white fish and she said she had no idea but it was no longer the Pollock fish. I told her it has a texture like chicken and the quality is awful. This is so unfair, I will NOT eat at Captain D's while they are serving their customers a low quality fish substitute at a high price. In all honesty, the fish is so horrible even if they cut the price in half it is not worth it. My niece went to a Captain D's in a different location and had the same complaint. I'm letting everyone know that if you order the battered fish at Captain D's it is not the same. Shame on you Captain D's, you need to find a way to bring back your original Pollock battered fish because the substitute is not working at all. DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER 😡

Well saw that Captain D’s was back open. Stop by after work. And I should’ve went home to cook the frys taste nasty ,hard and cold, The coleslaw was warm thought it was suppose to be cold. Tartar sauce look old and it’s warm runny not cold I want be eating here and the manager workers rudez they just opened back up yet need fresh food not used

Everything actually taste it really great they were kind of backed up but the lady was nice enough to make sure she heard my order properly and also got everything right including asking me that I need any extra condiments. I know you missing did that is just the ordinary job in that is protocol but a lot of people actually forget to put condiments in your bag so for her to actually be busy enough to remember to do so plus bring it out to my car and tell me to have a safe drive home that really meant something thanks again Captain D's I'll be back soon.
