San Pedro Cafe

It was my first time visiting a Caribbean restaurant but boy!! I am amazed. Very friendly staff, and this little heaven is right at the border of MN and WI and we discovered it during our staycation at a nearby airbnb. Reservations are required but you can walk in to, we did and got a table at kitchen counter (which was not at all bad) in-fact that was great we got to see the chef in action. Delicious food and nice cocktails. You should try their specialty menu, we tried Ginger stir fry and Jamaican Jerk Chicken from it and it was mouth watering. The mango vinegratte they use for specialty dishes is simply amazing.

Review for tonight’s experience only. March 25, 2022. Ordered food for pick up tipped the host even after auto fee for to go containers and packaging at 10% - and still didn’t end up with silverware or napkins in the bag. I called and asked to better understand for the future if I should have to ask or if this was just an error and expressed how I was commuting to hotel from a different state and now have to a Scour for a fork through out the lobby… rather than giving a quick apology for having been set back to enjoy my dinner, Bethany stated without hesitation that she didn’t know I would be going to a hotel, additionally that customers have to ask for utensils and finally stated with my 12 years of hospitality management I’m sure they have utensils for you downstairs without any empathy of my personal circumstances. I was not trying to get a free meal by no means just asking questions and wanted to express i was inconvenienced to have to scavenger hunt for utensils….moral of the story ALWAYS CHECK YOUR BAG . Thank you Bethany for being rude to me to top of the very stressful week.

Wow. Eat Here. Outstanding Service. Mouthwatering Food. My friends and I cannot say enough about San Pedros, extremely impressed. This restaurant was recommended by many to us, however our first time here. Celebrating our friends' birthday and after the worst experience ever at Mallory's we headed down the road. Upon walking in the door, great atmosphere. The hostess told us a table would be 45min-1 hr, but we were welcome to sit at bar - awesome! The bartender was very nice and knowledgeable and not pushy at all. We all enjoyed our margaritas (blood orange) and mojitos (pink guava). The chicken nachos under Starters was delicious, super good guacamole. The manager, Riley, was a peach! Like the nicest, patient, kind and easy going restaurant staff personnel I have ever encountered, even with a full bar and full restaurant. They clearly know what they are doing as the place ran like a well-oiled machine, lots of smiles and laughs and everyone enjoying themselves. Riley, the manager, chatted with us multiple times and gave us a thorough rundown of the menu and answered any questions we had. She was wonderful, the bartender was laid back and chill and makes great drinks. The food was phenomenal. Steak Tacos, Chicken Penne Pasta, Cuban Meatloaf. Oh and to top it off, Riley offered our friend a FREE slice of key lime pie for her birthday, which was delicious too! We will DEFINITELY be back, some locals told us about the patio and that San Pedros brunch is VERY good too!

Wonderful service, extremely attentive and knowledgeable staff. The food was incredible! We had Pisole, Conch chowder soup, and both of their salads. Great NA options! Great drink options (delicious and different). We received nothing but the best service from Maria B. Thank you!!! We will definitely come back to enjoy more food again!

Love the atmosphere, the staff is amazing, and the food is so great. Love the different options with a healthy twist. I have a difficult time eating spicy food, but I tend to try their spicy dishes. So good! Love the blend of sweet, spicy, and salty mixed in every dish. I highly recommend. The place is so unique and the vibe is great. Great place for hudson!
