Fast Wok

Giving five stars because people seem to love this food. I want to try just haven't yet due to the many openings/closings. Suggestion: MOVE. Not far but perhaps Cherry Tree Plaza. Your location is very, very bad-a deserted, defunct mall. Down the street Chik-fil-a isn't experiencing what you are. Just move. I know it may be cheaper where you are but it is not a good business idea and location really does matter. Hope to try your food soon. Stay safe, secure and healthy!

I'm sitting in Philadelphia tonight and just watched a YouTube video of a news report about this place. Apparently the food is really good. I'm saving it to my Google Maps locations so next time I'm in Indianapolis I can see if they are open and give it a try. I'm always looking for good food in my travels.

Have loved this place since their days at Eastgate. Wish mama all the best in her recovery, glad to see they reopened,sorta? Went by today for lunch and the familiar 'Closed' sign was posted again. Maybe some kind of communication to your hundreds of fans as to what your modified hours and days of operation are, or adding an outgoing message on your voice mailbox? Drove 20 minutes to get there and was crushed to see it closed. Called this evening to check for an update and got the mailbox is full message. Just hope all is well, and you'll be back at full strength soon! Can't wait for some Schezuan Chicken again!

I would honestly like to just thank Fast Wok. Thank you for all of your years of service and for serving all of your customers with amazing food and putting smiles on all of our faces. Fast Wok was open for 30+ years and ever since i was first born and my mom took me there, I loved it; so much to choose from, all great and fresh food and such nice people that run the place. When mama had a stroke a few years ago and fast wok had to close for a few years, there was so many people missing their food and hoping mama was okay. Then, on November 1st, 2023 Fast Wok re-opened; and it truly showed how Indianapolis can act. The lines were so long, people threatening people with guns, just so they can cut in line for some food, people fighting, and some people ordering so much food when they finally got up to the ordering area. I'm sorry, but if you're ordering like 6 or 8+ meals, there is something wrong with you. The limit when they re-opened Fast Wok should've just been like 4 or MAYBE 5. And apparently someone ordered a whopping 35 meals... if that is true, please tell me why the hell you need that many meals?! You aren't eating all that by yourself I'm sure and I really hope that wasn't for a birthday party or something. 🤦‍♂️ But all this just shows how pathetic people can act/be over the simplest things. People literally threatening others over some FOOD is just scary and so sad. 😔 So I would just like to give another thanks to Indianapolis, (specifically the ones acting like psychos), for taking away yet another place in my heart, and many others. I grew up going to Fast Wok alot, it always put a smile on my face when I'd go in there. But as of now, I will never be able to experience that again. So thanks to all the people who gotta take away people's favorite places from others who grew up with it and loved it. Because of the psychos, Fast Wok was only able to stay open 3 days... Couldn't even stay open the 2nd day of the re-opening because the server had to stay there until like 1-4am... So Fast Wok couldn't even open back for a week, lots of us weren't even able to enjoy it one last time. So thanks for all of the years of being open mama, thanks for putting smiles on our faces with all of your delicious food, but I'm sorry you had to deal with all of these psychos for the last 3 days of being open. Thank you mama ❤🥡🥠

Yes me too. I love this place and grew up eating here with a single mother of two. We would go into the Eastgate location and love the Washington Street location. I have never seen so many people waiting patiently for good food every time I went in there was a line out of the door. This was a treat when we would eat it as a child and rarely could we afford takeout. The Rangoon were the only seafood free in town and I have always treated myself to this wonderful establishment any chance I got to drive back to my home town because nothing else can bring me back. Her delicious Mongolian chicken and Rangoon fresh have kept me coming back for years and when I didn't have an appetite for food this was always a solution and there was always leftovers and healthy portions. Gratitude for you guys all these years.
