Kaspa's Lancaster

Took the kids here today for a special treat. The desserts were pretty amazing and we all enjoyed them. However, the toilets were absolutely filthy. It was odd because they had one of those charts on the wall that staff ticked after they'd (supposedly) cleaned them every hour. Erm... I don't think so. Those toilets had not been cleaned in a month, and possibly longer. I wished I hadn't gone as I had to eat my dessert after that, feeling a bit sick. We won't go back. Too gross for a food establishment.

Abysmal! When ordering, you're asked "would you like (this item) with your food? How about (this item)?" But they fail to mention that these items cost extra - I cost nearly the price of a can of whipped cream to get a little squirt on top of the hot chocolate, likewise, it cost half the price of a bag of mini marshmallows to get a few thrown on top of the cream, which were STALE! When the hot chocolate finally arrived, there was only half a cup there! While on the topic of the hot drinks.. Service was extremely slow, it literally took them 10 minutes to make a hot drink, we ordered 3 which were made separately, totalling 30 minutes to get 2 coffees and a hot chocolate! In regards to the food, both myself any my friend was going to order a Kinder Bueno Waffle, we both saw the Reece's Waffle on the advert and opted for that instead.. This was a mistake, the waffle was bloody horrid! You couldn't taste the chocolate over the peanut flavour (peanut flavour, not peanut butter! It did NOT taste like Reece's), on top of which, none of the waffle flavour came through either, it did have a hint of "baked goods" flavour, but if I blind tasted it, I wouldn't have been able to distinguish between this and a cheap peanut butter sandwich. My partner had a chocolate fudge cake which she said she enjoyed, with that said, she did have COVID last year and still can't taste properly.. I tried her cake, reluctantly, when she asked me to.. to me, it tasted like it had actual dirt in it.. The prices are also extortionate! Would NOT recommend!

Puddings where amazing. Shame about the staff. The guy who took us to our table threw the menus down didnt even speak to us, then when I went to the counter to order another guy was texting on his phone looked at me then carried on texting. One of the girls was super busy and seemed to be doing everything. Think kaspa's would do well on some serious customer staff training.
