Jo Jo's Backyard Bbq

I don't write many reviews, but I felt like Jo Jo's Backyard BBQ in Buford SC was worth the time to do so. My family loves BBQ, me especially, and all I can say is this place is well worth the drive, wherever you live. We sit out on the front porch under the ceiling fans when we go, and we always take some in bulk when we leave. I love the ribs and pulled pork and my wife loves the BBQ Chicken, the sides are homemade and awesome too, It's all to die for. Prices are reasonable too !! Keep the Smokers Hot Jo Jo's, We'll be back soon !!

Compared to any restaurant in 25 mile radius, the prices at Jo Jo's are really inexpensive for the amount of food that you receive. The low prices coupled with the high quality food and service that we've always received makes this one of my favorite places. The best pulled pork, dry rubbed ribs and bbq chicken we have ever had. They serve a mustard based sauce as well as a vineger based that is out of this world. Lots of sides, and the brunswick stew and tomato based bbq slaw are really good. It's worth the short drive to get there, especially when you realize how much food you get for a really affordable price.

Oh my Lord God in Heaven FORGIVE ME!!! But I swear to you the Bar-B-Que sandwich from JoJos in Buford... is SO GOOD... (to put it in southern terms...) it will make you wanna smack your Momma so hard that your Great Granny feels it!!! Im not at all kiddin here folks!!! I have eaten a lot of BBQ from a lot of places, and there's is BY FAR the best I've EVER had. And their sauces... UMPH! I dont even like mustard... cant stand it actually. But even their mustard sauce had me lickin it off my fingers! BBQ is a serious thing to this gal here y'all... And I'm as real as it gets when it comes to good food! If you like BBQ... ya need to GET SUMMA THIS!!!

Idk who these people are that thought this was the best bbq they ever had but they must have been friends of the owner or paid to write it bc it was GROSS. the sweet tea belonged up north, the slaw was so gross I spit mine out, the sauce was so bad I asked for sweet baby rays bought sauce, the soda machine wasn't tasting right and he said it was good, the prices were expensive and we didn't get a large amount of food...should I keep going? the good things about this place was the texture of the pork was good but not the flavor and the owner was sooooo nice. The chicken was so gross both me and my hubby took a bite and had to throw it away. A side to the chicken was a itty bitty cup. I wouldn't recommend you waste your money.
