El Sombrero Mexican Restaurant

This was the entire order of steak nachos. It’s had about 7 chips. I emailed them to give them a chance to correct before posting this review but never heard back. This is not an order of nachos by any standards. I stopped eating here a while ago because the food started to be so bad but gave it another shot and regretted it.

Always Amazing food! Very Affordable for lunch & dinner. Best Tapitias you well ever find. The location throws some people off, but they are really missing out and it is very convenient parking and well worth it. I have been eating here for almost 20 years and I can't remember ever not having great food. Even with staff shortages like everyone is having, they still stay on top of things. I have personally seen the Manager, Enrique, bringing food out, working the register, and cooking. That kind of dedication to service is not often found anymore. If you haven't tried it, go for the good food that won't kill your budget. If it's been a while, head back in because it's Amazing!

The staff is terribly rude and discriminatory, we were asked if we were actually paying for our stuff, given gross looks, etc. The food is really good and probably one or two of the waitresses are actually good at their job. The older lady who’s there everyday was the one to make our experience worse, shes was the main one giving looks and questioning if we were actually going to pay or not. Never had this attitude before in customer service. Most of the staff is also extremely slow, most of the time the restaurants not even busy. We loved this place until these continuous experiences.

Horrible! We got our appetizers and waited 20 mins for the waitress to come take our order. We were out of drinks, Chips & salsa. It would be different if they were busy, but no! There were only 4 other tables sat. We went to just pay for our cheese dip & guacamole and the waitress was just sitting down, on her phone smoking her vape in the lobby. They lost a good customer!

The staff at this location are very rude. Specifically Maria and Monica. I called to address a grub hub order with missing items and the first person, Maria insisted that they do not even partner with Grubhub (which was a lie because I confirmed the location in the app and with them) let them know that items were missing and they said that they put each order in separate bags. We had 7 orders and they only gave us 5. Maria then put Monica on the phone and they did not care to try to make it right by the customer. And when asked to speak to the manager Enrique they just said that he wasn’t available. I will never order from here again. Customer service is important and they did not do their job in providing that.
