Sam's Pizzeria And Cafe

Sam's Pizza has a great atmosphere. The open mike jams on the second and 4th Thursday feature local talents as feature acts. Every Friday night open mike starting at 8 you never know who will be there and the talented musicians playing there are a welcoming inclusive group of people. The owner Sam is a friendly guy. All the help at Sam's work hard to please the customers. The pizza is good but their best item is the famous brownies !

Excellent food! The pizza is not too badly priced since I filled myself up after one slice. The cookies are awesome too! My one critique is that the manager was pretty rude to the cashier in front of me and my friends which is unprofessional and probably embarrassing for the cashier (who did an excellent job that didn't deserve to be yelled at for) I'd recommend it.

You have a couple of options for pizza in downtown, and everyone has a different suggestion, but this one is my favorite. The crispy crust of their pizza is awesome, and the toppings all have a premium taste. You can eat pizza by the slice, but I recommend ordering/taking out a whole pie if you're looking for more bang for your buck. Lots of great gourmet flavors, the buffalo chicken is some of the best I've had, but their more standard fare is also definitely worth trying. Pricier than some other options, but you can tell the price goes into quality of ingredients. Definitely worth it. It's a small joint with limited seating like anything on Main St. and fills up fast at popular hours. More comfortable and accomadating than some other places in the area, however. It has a robust cafe with coffee, desserts, and beer, but I've yet to hang around long enough to indulge. That will change soon, though. Very friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. Check it out!
