Ihop

Haven't been to this IHOP in a very long time, but did today being that I was in the area with my friend Darryl. He loves his burgers and Mountain Dew. The IHOP in East Peoria continues to be closed and this is the only one around here. We weren't disappointed with our meal or service. The employees were very cordial even though everyone these days are short handed.

The waitress was without minimum of customer service. All the employees was without name tags. I can't type her name because of that. Took too long to seat me and take too long for service. None of the waitress ask me if I had been help. The place was with trash all over. Not sanitizer at all. I think the city need to stop by to inspect this restaurant. I took pictures to proved this.

I did an online order on 02-05-2022 at 6:27 pm., the order should been ready at 6:43 pm when I arrived to pick up the order the only waitress on place told me that the cook had lost my ticket for that reason I should wait for 30 additional minutes or cancel the order. I decided to wait, after 30 minutes waiting the waitress told me the same excuse. She said: Sorry the cook lost your ticket again. I have to cancel your order. It is so sad to treat a customer like that. I was not the only person with the same issue there, and the charge for $29.95 is still there in credit card; this is the reflection of persons that work just because they are only waiting for the weekly check, not because they like what they do. Please think twice before going to this place is deplorable customer service; if you want to enjoy your dinner, please avoid going to this place; they don't care about customers.

None of the servers had name tags and all the servers my bf an I encountered were pretty rude and made it known that they didn’t want to be there. From us getting sat down by a girl who was mean mugging the whole time n never came to get our order we finally had a waitress come and ask if we had been waited on we told her no and she disappeared for another 10 min and when she came back to the table she was hovered over aggressively flipping thru her notepad and wasn’t saying anything. I was awkwardly waiting for her to ask for our order but she never did until I had asked if she was ready. Once she took our order she never came back to our table until our check was given to us. All the while sitting a group of girls down behind us and her demeanor had completely flipped. She was nice asking ab their day and seemed to have given them way better service then what was given to us. Very disappointed bc I love ihop but the experience was one of the worst I’ve had and that’s coming from someone who actively works in costumer service.
