Applebee's

My daughter,my granddaughter and I ate at the Peoria restaurant. They had no air conditioning. The staff didn't look happy. No smiles. The floor had carpet and we could feel our shoes stick to the floor. The hosts did say she was sorry 3 or 4 times about not having air conditioning. Our waiters was slow. They didn't have very many customers at all. Two people to a table counting our table and 7 tables occupied. My daughter and I ordered from the 2 for $25.00. My granddaughter ordered from the kids menu. I had 6 oz sirloin with double order of broccoli and a salad. My drink was water. My daughter and granddaughter both had grilled chicken Alfredo. The chicken was slightly warm,the noodles was rubbery and dry not much sauce. They had a cherry Pepsi and a lemonade. We didn't complain. Didn't feel like it would do any good. My husband and I eat at the one in Davenport Iowa offtin. Awesome place good food wonderful wait staff. I'm sure we will not go back .my sirloin looks like a little meatball. I know it's not a big portion 6oz but a thinner steak would look more filling. Sorry we will not be back.

If I could rate this zero stars, I would. I went for dinner with my father today and the staff and experience was terrible! I’m a server myself and I understand to a certain degree that being understaffed and super busy can be overweening but this was ridiculous. First off I was ushered to a table right by the front door where it was nosey from all the foot traffic by the host stand, was only given a single menu when I had told them there was two of us and the girl walked off before I could ask for another one. When our server got there she quickly took our order without showing much interest in asking the right questions about our food preference ( ie: dressing for dads fried chicken salad.) We had ordered onion rings and another worker brought them out with given us the small plates to use between us both, we asked for two sides of ranch and instead of just going back and getting it she waited until our server finished an order to tell her to get it so we waited about 10 minutes before our server returned with ranch but not plates. So we waited even longer for them and by that time our appetizer was cold. The food was brought out not too long after we finally got to start our onion rings and the food was disgusting. Dad wasn’t offered an dressing for his Fried chicken salad, so he barely ate any of it, then my chicken wing Mac n cheese was dry and lukewarm. I just ate the chicken and pushed my plate away. Our server was no where to be found throughout our meal, and brought a single glass refill for just dad right before we asked for our bill. We paid and left but won’t be back. I would have been more sympathetic towards the staff had you actually been busy and just behind because of that but it was dead and our server maybe had one other table. Tops two. Needless to say; we won’t ever be back to this location. The Pekin location has been the best experience every time.

Horrible horrible horrible. Do NOT waste your time or money at this place. The whole restaurant stank the food was horrible and I was so upset at the service. I love Applebee's. I always get the same thing. The rice these people served me was so disgusting I couldn't eat it. The fries was cold and they didn't have half the things we tried to order. I will never return to this location.

Outdoor Seating was set up nice. Servers and Waitresses went above and beyond, to tend to your every need. Very friendly staff. Our meals were good. Drinks never went empty. Building itself could have used alittle more attention. Out of toilet paper in both restrooms, trash all throughout, on the buildings floor. Unprofessional loud language was used by some staff in the back.

It was really nice actually. Given that I haven't been to an Applebee's in years, this one was very nice. Our order came fast, the waitresses really likes to refill my drink whenever it is empty or get a new glass for me. Mozzarella sticks very CHEESY. Only problem I found was the bathrooms. All in all, everything there was good.

In a new world of places hurting for help this was also the case here. It was not as bad as sooner places but one or two more people would make the difference. Gave 4. S/B 3.5. good was average to good but of 4 people 2 walked away feeling meal was mediocre. Not fault of cook or server. But had to ask for things more than once. She was very nice but missed a couple things. Not overly pricy but almost for portion size.

I should have left when I walked in and smelled the mildew but I hoped it was just the entrance. It was not and instead of actually correcting the smell, they have glad plug ins throughout the restaurant so it smells like mildew and air freshener. This isn't pleasant to smell while eating. The drinks were good but the food was cold and it we were clearly an afterthought to our waitress.The service was poor and the restaurant seemed to be fully staffed as there seemingly was a party going on in the kitchen. I wondered where the manager was and why it was aloud to go on.
