Mitsuwa Marketplace

After going to the Torrance, CA and Irvine, CA locations a few times before, was curious how this Plano office would compare, especially the fresh items such as the fish. I was pleasantly surprised to see the quality and quantity of items were similar to the California locations. All the aisles were fully stocked of authentic Japanese products. I've lived in Japan for many years and saw all the common items, but also a wide range of brands and options. They had everything from fresh vegetables, fresh fish, pantry items, toiletries, drinks, sushi, dessert, cooked food to go, etc... I wish I would've planned for my 4 hour drive back home and brought a cooler to bring back some of the fresh fish. I was still able to buy a lot of items that didn't need refrigeration and a few bites for the road. Great place to get authentic Japanese groceries and other items.

Mitsuwa is always a favorite on my list to visit when I know one is in the area when I am traveling! I love to look at the fish selection and am always amazed to see this as we do not have one in Minnesota! It was very cool to see a Wagyu cafe in this place and I had wish they were open so I could have some Japanese Wagyu!! Hopefully they are open next time I visit! Looking at their selection, they had a lot in stock and not a lot of items were out of stock.
