The King Cake is always delicious. However, shipping is extremely expensive, around $25 to ship 70 miles. They did a great job packing the cake, and I was surprised at how well the integrity of the cake was maintained during shipping. I did not mind paying so much for the shipping since I wanted to try the flavor of the week, Indecision, and due to an injury I cannot drive right now. I was really excited to receive the cake and try all the different flavors hoping to find a new favorite. I received a cookie and cream slice, a cookie butter slice, a s’mores slice, a birthday cake slice, and FOUR cream cheese slices, although to be fair one may be Bavarian cream (I haven’t tasted it yet). Not a single fruit flavored slice. I realize I bought a mixed, basically mystery box, but I feel that they made it easy for themselves with little regard for my experience as a customer since half of it was plain cream cheese. Lilah’s had an opportunity to wow me, instead I feel like I half the cake was plain and cheap with zero imagination. I may pick up another King Cake from them if I’m in Shreveport already, but I will never spend the money to have one shipped from them again.

I took my kids to the Highland parade yesterday and saw a man pass by with a couple of king cakes so I jumped up and ran to Lilah's. I've never gotten one from Lilah's before but we did and let me just tell you..... THE BEST KING CAKE WE'VE EVER HAD! Got the bavarian cream and going back today for a couple more. This is my new spot.

Liliah’s King Cakes are the BEST king cake ever!!! I have had more King Cakes than I can count during my lifetime. I can tell you that the majority of them where dry and lacked flavor. I have tried almost every flavor Lilah’s offers and I have yet to find one that wasn’t delicious. My favorite is Maple Bacon but I really like them all. We look forward to king cake season as we typically buy at least two a week (sometimes more)! Thank you Lilah’s for always being kind and sharing your tasty cakes with us.

I ordered a gf king cake online and they called to tell me they couldn't deliver to a PO Box, so I told them to cancel my order over the phone. They never refunded my credit card and lied to the credit card company that I filed my dispute with about never receiving a cancellation request (convenient for them that the cancellation was over the phone and I can't provide documentation!). They never sent me a king cake and never refunded my card. Bad business!
