Great decorations. Easy drop. Lines are not very long. But TSA IS A HEADACHE! Some are nice but others are very rude. They treat the Flight Attendants and Pilots like an EX boyfriend. They check you bags just to make you late. Scanning your bags two or three times opening your luggage just to amuse themselves. All to say your okay have a nice day. I know they have a job to do but there is no reason to be rude. They have nice paintings all over the terminal so be sure to check them out. Tip go early to avoid being delayed by TSA.

My wife’s baggage was left behind in Frankfurt Germany. We filed a baggage claim and the suitcase made it to Shreveport and the fine folks at the Shreveport Regional Airport decided to let it sit for a week. I called customer service inquiring about it and the fine gentleman told me that it was between myself and the airline. Then someone finally called and left a voicemail informing me that they actually had the bag. When I called back the person was extremely rude. Terrible terrible customer service.

I love the Airport itself; however, the parking is very dangerous. I left my car there for a few days and when I got back I noticed that several vehicles windows were shattered. I reported to the Airport personnel and they were afraid to speak on the matter fearing that they would lose their jobs. I kept talking to different people and they all told me that they have had several vehicles stolen off of the lot. They said that they it's gotten so bad that now they only have three security personnel and none of the cameras don't work. I will not be flying into Shreveport Regional Airport until this is corrected.

The Shreveport Airport is one of the most unprofessional places I have even been to. I am a traveling CNA and needed to be in Arizona by the 23rd of June to start my contract. I am renting a car from Enterprise car company. I have been a customer of theirs for a very long time. I usually don't have any problems. The 20th of June will go down in my book of a bad experience with Shreveport Airport and Enterprise Car rental as well! I was on I-20 West heading to AZ. When all of sudden a piece of metal comes through my windshield breaks the glass and impaling my dashboard and if it were in a different location on the window would have went through my husband. My husband and I had glass all over us and the impact was so hard the glass went completely to the back of the car. We called 911 the police came and I called Enterprise for the first time at 4:25pm. From this point we talked to the police and tried to figure out what was the best solution to do since it was a rental and we were heading to AZ. The Enterprise customer service rep. talked to the police and got the address of the gas station where we were and then got instructed to go to the airport to pick up another car because of this one is no longer acceptable to drive. The police told us since no one was injured we didn't need to write up a report. I get to the airport thinking okay this will take about 30 to 40 minutes depending on wait time. I go in and try talking to an National and Enterprise representative and they tell me I can't switch the car first, I have to pay a deductible through my insurance. That isn't the the case because I had damage liability put on the car and Enterprise insurance put on the car as well he didn't even ask me any questions about it. He just automatically assumed everything. Then he said something really preposterous that made my blood boil. Especially everything my husband and I had just experienced. He said so you had vandalism on your car? What? I had already explained to the man that a Enterprise customer representative called and explained who I was and the details of my case and I should have a car waiting for me. He said no, this is not the case. I have no vehicle and unless I pay for said vehicle I can't get one because it is just my word that is was a piece of metal that flew through the windshield. To make such a very long story shorter. I called Enterprise 4 times. They sent 4 emails to the Shreveport Airport. I asked to show the manager pictures of my car and the police on scene he refused. This was a breakdown of the worst if I have ever seen!! I lost valued time and it was very stressful which didn't need to happen! When going into customer service as a profession. I understand doing your job. Try listening to your customer before being rude to them. Always thinking you are RIGHT! IT'S NOT ALWAYS ABOUT YOU! My husband and I sat at the airport for more than four and half hours waiting for Enterprise Rental to do something so simple. This is never acceptable especially when people pay so much money to rent your vehicles. Also to the manager at Enterprise in Shreveport Airport please try to be more kind to people. Kindness goes a long way in this world. 😊

Very nice Small airport, close to points in NE Texas. They are doing some work now outside by American Airlines check-in, but not bad overall. Staff at Amwrican and TSA were both great, easy and smooth to get assistance and get through.

All of the employees are nice here. I've been here twice. Once when I was arriving from Florida and right now as I head to Basic Training for the Army. In particular the American Airlines gate 5 is nice.

Literally the worst experience I’ve ever had at an airport. One person working a counter to check bags and took almost 2 hrs just for me to be told I missed my flight. This is why people don’t fly out of Shreveport. Do yourself a favor and drive to Dallas. Drive to any other airport within five hours. Just don’t fly out of Shreveport.

The airport is nice but sadly, the price to fly out of shreveport is so expensive, you have to drive to Dallas or Tyler or Alexandra. It is a clean friendly airport. Seems to Always have construction going on but no additions. Have the omelet in the airport cafe, it’s great and the cook and waiter are nice. WARNING. Do not stay in any hotels near the airport. It’s not a good area to be in. Go to bossier city or south shreveport for lodging.
