Cousins Maine Lobster

Delicious lobster food served fresh and hot. The lobster tacos, rolls, tots, and grilled cheese are all fantastic. It costs a bit more than other places but keep in mind you are getting a generous portion of lobster. The food trucks are great and this location brings a nice dinning experience to match. Well worth a visit. I found the staff super friendly and nice.

This isn't a brick and mortar review, this is a food truck review. Well, there is one thing that seems to be cosistent about experiencing a "restaurant" in real-life opposed to what's seen on television. We have visited several FoodNetwork showcased restaurants and each of them have been a bust. It is now safe for me to say that FoodNetwork, though interesting, can't be trusted. We visited the Cousin's Maine Lobster Food Truck while vacationing in Tennessee and I wasn't impressed at all. Yes, the lobster was decent but I expected more in terms of flavor. I ordered Lobster Tacos (the cliantro lime sauce was amazing and the pico de gallo was just, ok), my husband ordered Lobster Poppers and Tots, his meal was delicious. Because we are familiar with seafood prices, I didn't expect the quantity of Lobster I had and it almost seems as if I got the left overs from what was fried for him. We did add extra Lobster to his meal as it was suggested. I didn't taste his buffalo sauce but he enjoyed it. The tots were well fried, and the lobster, his lobster, was delicious. My lobster was pretty much drowned in the pico and I could taste more cabbage than I could lobster. I would refer friends and family to this establishment but it wouldn't be a meal I crave or brag about.

Wow! Sooo good. My family is from Maine so we know good lobster. We had the Cousin's Maine Lobster food truck cater my Mom's 80th birthday party today in Moscow, TN and they did a great job. The Maine lobster rolls were buttered and grilled on the sides just like we love and it adds so much flavor. They all had generous helpings of lobster meat with melted butter or mayo as you choice. The lobster bisque and New England clam chowder were also excellent. Great crew running the truck and they were all super pleasant and enjoyable to work with for the party. Everyone loved the lobster rolls and soups. Super pleased with this company and their service. Food was excellent! Would highly recommend and the prices are very fair for the quality you are receiving.

Disappointed on what I received, was expecting natural cut fries and large pieces of fish like their picture, but received these white processed fries like you buy at Walmart. The fish was not like pictured in the ad, but small square shaped pieces that were about half the size of the ad's fish, maybe they gave me the fish sandwich portion by mistake? It was definitely not worth $14.50. Also wanted a drink ($2.50) and got charged for a combo ($3.50) that includes chips and a drink. I asked why I got charged for a combo and they said it was because I ordered fish and chips??? All in all got charged for Fish and Chips ($14.50) and the combo (drink and chips for $3.50) but only receive 1 order of chips. The small fish squares and the lemon did taste good though so I threw them an extra star.
