I made the mistake of going around 7:30pm and all they had was kebab left for sandwiches ( I wanted to try Schwarma). I ordered hummus too, which was a large portion despite my asking for a “small” size. However, everything was delicious, and I can’t wait to return at an earlier time to try more of their food! $7.28 for a delicious sandwich and side was totally worth it!

Mandi House is a Yemenite restaurant located in a Plaza at 58 Richmond Terrace, Staten Island, NY. They serve middle eastern cuisine and have a broad selection to choose from. I usually get their gyros. They offer dine-in, takeout and delivery. They’re open everyday from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.

A really unassuming place with superb food. The gentleman working there took the time to explain the choices to a newby to Yemeni food. So much flavor and very fresh.

My first time in this restaurant, and I love. I took the shawarma platter with chicken. Delicious!

Wow is all I can say. Their chicken shawarma was A M A Z I N G. I legit can’t wait to see what everything else tastes like.
I’ve tried it in Manhattan & the Bronx (African style).. this is one of the best hands down. I can also appreciate their culture as you can taste it in their food.
I’ll be back for sure !

I tried this place for the first time. I ordered the chicken gyro. It was the best chicken gyro I've ever had. Full of flavor and the chicken was not overcooked and dried out. My co-worker ordered the curry chicken with rice. He said it was delicious. The staff is very friendly and service was quick. I also tasted the dessert called Kunafa. It was also delicious. The prices are very reasonable and portions are generous. I will definitely be back.

The food is great and we'll flavored! The lamb was perfectly cooked and tender fell off the bone👍 the place is nice and clean well decorated with a pleasant staff. I would definitely recommend this place for some good yemeni food on the island
