Just Hooked

$14 bucks fish and chips. Waited for 25 mins. When I get to the counter to collect, the staff said waited 2 mins. I literally saw him put the fish into the oil tank. Less than 1 min pick it up and put in my lunch box. Boss, can you give a bit more moral standard to provide better quality of service. Yours is not a MacDonald fast food shop. You can do better than these .

Absolutely love Just Hooked! The shop is inviting and spotlessly clean, the team are friendly and happy to chat when time allows. Best of all is their menu - there's something for everyone. My husband and I really enjoyed our seafood packs - a fish and a calamari - and our daughter really demolished her delicious looking wagyu burger.

Located right across from the beach Just Hooked is a solid fish and chip option in the area. I ordered the traditional fish and chips, crispy batter on the fish and good chips. The menu includes the usual salads, and other seafood options. This local fish and chip store went through a massive renovation and the interior now is super cute. Limited parking out front but there is street parking and also beach parking across the street. There is both indoor and outdoor tables but best thing to do is get takeaway and cross the road to the beach.

Oh boy, that was really not bad! Everything is cooked fresh. We had a family pack for $95. I say it bites, but we weren't sorry. Beware though, they give you lots of food. 2 adults and 3 kids were able to go through just half of it. The Good - very nice prawns - extremely yummy barramundi - octopuses. Couldn't get my kid to leave me some - chips were good. So easy to ruin whole experience with bad chips, but not in this case The Neutral - i read a lot of praise for calamari rings. Like "the best in Sydney. Not this time. They are not bad, but were a bit overcooked to my taste. Kids loved them though - potato scallops. Nah. Had better. - buttered fish. Nah. Had better - greek salad. Personal thing, but nothing drives me of more than crunchy tomatoes in greek salad. And you can be more generous on feta. Just a tad more - wiith family pack, instead of 3 small sauces, mb you can give two medium ones? Don't cost much, but drives experience up The Ugly - i like the idea, that you tried to overcome the trouble by putting some pita bread inside, but still - too much oil... Overall, i say the place is worth a visit. Fresh, friendly and clean. We will come back. Thx and good luck!
