Fogo De Chao Brazilian Steakhouse

The food was good, not great, but not disappointing. Unfortunately the service wasn’t great. We were asked every 3-4 minutes if we were finished while we still had food on our plates. At the end of our meal (we didn’t intend for it to be the end of our meal) a server came to the table and just took our plates away and told us the dessert menu could be scanned. At this point I was ready to go, but it was our anniversary so we decided to go ahead and have dessert. We were only part way through dessert, literally fork still in hand, when another server came and asked if she could take our plates. We weren’t lingering, we were not just sitting and occupying a table, there were tables on either side of us that arrived before us, were still there when we left, and were obviously just visiting. Unfortunately we won’t be back because of the way we were treated, which is really too bad as we have a group of friends we’d love to return with knowing they would enjoy the experience. To be clear, we were only there for about 45 minutes (including the time it took to be seated and order drinks) before we started being pushed out.

Never been to this location before last week. We did the outdoor dining. The first impression was not good. We live an hour away and when we got into town, there was a many road blocks. The GPS said we would be 2 minutes late so we called to tell them we will be late by 2 minutes for our reservation. The guy on the phone was very condescending and said he will not hold our table for 2 minutes and that we would have to wait in line. So now in a rush, we get inside and there is no hostess. We walk to the patio and we were abruptly told to go back and wait to be seated by a hostess. I look for the hostess and they are all gathered at a table inside not paying attention to the door. We get seated (with many open tables by the way, so the man on the phone was condescending for no reason) and the servers are friendly and the food was good. That’s the 2 stars I am giving because from then on, we weren’t given a card to tell when to stop serving us with the meat, we were interrupted about every 10 seconds with offers that started as soon as we sat down from the salad bar. With a plate full of food from the salad bar and them giving us hot food that we were inclined to accept, we had to eat them very fast or else they would get cold within a minute because there was no heat whatsoever in the tent. They offered us a table cloth for a blanket but it didn’t do much good. Advice to the manager is to put heaters in the tent to avoid food getting cold and wasted, and to offer the green/red cards again to guests. Advice to people going there is to take a shot of tequila to stay warm or bundle up beforehand as it seemed there was a limited (one) option to try to eat comfortably.

Fogo de Chao hasn't failed me yet. It's a great place for great meats to eat. The pricing may deter you but the experience is great. The staff is quite friendly and have quite a standard. The staff is very clean and attentive, quite professional. Although I'd have to say that some meats were kind of dry but definitely not the ones that count. The lamb and different cuts of sirloin was fantastic. Definitely a great place to check out if you have the time or money.

Very pricey ($60+ per person), and they try to sneak some more onto your bill (don't accidentally accept the $20+ shrimp cocktail they bring around) - but that's really the only downside. The food is to die for if you're a meat lover; it's a better Brazilian steakhouse than one I dined at in Vegas, and I was quite happy with that meal. They bring around a variety of excellent cuts and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. If you've got some cash to burn and a big stomach to fill, this might be the best meal in the area for a special occasion. Going here is a memorable event.
