Maxburger

The food here is ok, not the best and not the worst. Don't get the drunken donut, this is a waste of $9. It has baked donut in the shake which is hard and nasty, and the donut on top is not edible. The donut tasted like it had be sitting out for at least 4 days and had a bad flavor to it. The burger was okay, not the best I've ever had and did not seem to be worth the $12 that it cost. The burger was cooked to my liking and so was the bacon, but the burger did not have a fresh beef flavor like I was looking for. Also, do not eat the pickles, there's a reason why they're on the side... they're nasty! I was trying to figure out the flavor of em, but could only taste a hint of mint for some reason. The best part of the visit was the waitress and the FOH staff, they were friendly.

The food has been good the 2 times that we have been here. The service however can be improved. It took about 20 minutes to get a drink, during which time we pondered leaving. The restaurant seemed understaffed so not entirely their fault but the waitress could have acknowledged that they were going to be with us soon. Once the food came out we were satisfied and didn’t have any issues. Would recommend for the food, but management needs to fix the timing of service/staffing.

Food was great but..... Waited extremely long time for service. Asked multiple times for beverages and silverware. Got our own ketchup from other tables. Had planned to get milkshakes but got tired of waiting. Estimate they were 1/4 full. Waitstaff was hanging out at the bar. This place has great food and a good beer selection. Need to improve the waitstaff. The owner or a manager should be there on a Saturday night. They really need to make a change quick or they are going to lose too much business.

We went on a Saturday afternoon. Parking lot was full, but turns out it was for breakfast time next door. We were waiting for another person so we ordered appetizers and drinks, waited about an hour for all our party to arrive. In that time I had to ask 3 times to have my coffee filled. Fried green tomatoes were in fact red, very ripe, hence mushy and flavor profile was way off. Onion in the onion rings were raw, Not crunchy- raw. Burgers were decent, nothing special. Service was sub par given there were 2 waitress, a manager/bartender and 2-3 tables (including us) occupied. Overall very disappointing.

When this place first opened, I was not very impressed. However, my husband has been hooked since first bite, but I have to say they have come a long way since. We had a party of 9 there tonight for his birthday, and everyone was very happy with their order. The drinks and dessert were really good, too. It has a nice relaxed atmosphere, and we had a great server (I wish I could remember her name!). We took my 90 year old aunt here last summer and she said she had the best burger she ever had. Give these guys a chance!

We visited this place recently for the second time and were not impressed by our service. The food was decent, but for the price BadDaddys burger bar would have been worth the drive. Having been a waitress in years past in some major restaurants I don't believe this is managed well. The poor girl who served us was overwhelmed by ALL the tables she had in the restaurant. From our observation she seemed to be the only server on duty. She seemed to have about 6-8 tables spread out all over the restaurant. It took 45 minutes to get our food on a week night. The bartender stepped in at one point to check on us, but when our server walked up to explain something the bartender came off as rude to her in front of us. Overall we were not impressed and more than likely will not be back to this restaurant.

Got the Havana Nights burger because I love pulled pork, but when it came out there was barely any on my burger and it had no taste. The house pickles were decent and the sweet potato fries were very good but the burger was sub-par at best. My girlfriend said her burger was decent but her fries weren’t good at all. The service is even worse, as we already decided what we wanted to eat before even being asked what we wanted to drink by a completely different waitress. When our waiter came around, he was friendly but very inattentive. The price does not match the quality, and I see this as being our first and last trip to Maxburger.
