The service here is very friendly and helpful. I was greeted upon entering and was asked various questions until the wine that best suited my preferences (including price range) was found. I appreciated that the owner was willing to work with me despite my budget. The local Wanaka Pinot Gris she recommended was delicious. She is clearly very knowledgeable in her work and knows her inventory.

Nadia was an absolute dream to work with as our wedding supplier!
Her knowledge is next level - she sent me a sample box of wines for our wedding based simply on vague flavors I described - and it was perfect!
I'd highly recommend Pembroke to anyone looking for a wine supplier for their big day. They even did an emergency delivery during the event to top up our reserves.

Personal, friendly and expert service, delicious wine tasting choices, reasonable prices and a fun atmosphere. I tried white and red tastings in 2 different days: Bonus that the winemaker for my favorite Pinot Noir came in the place and I got to say hello! Would recommend!

We used Pembroke Wines & Spirits to cater our wedding in February 2023. They were fantastic and suggesting suitable varieties of Wine to match what we wanted. The supplies were delivered on time and picked up the following day at the time agreed. Thank you Nadia and Trent for making our big day go so smoothly.

Friendly and knowledgeable owner who gave us an introduction to local wines and hikes in the area. We had the flight of 4 white wines and incredibly delicious smoked mussels with salad. Reasonable prices too.

Just a quick note to say thank you for the recommendations and service. All wines were well received by myself and the group of us. It was also really good to find some new gems that I hadn't heard of previously that were fantastic. We ran of wine out part way through the trip so I visited the shop for a resupply and Andrew was very helpful with recommendations. All in all interacting and shopping with Pembroke was a good experience.

Stop here for your NZ vino fix. The guys and gals working here know their stuff, are very friendly and accommodating. Buy to take away or drink on premise, they have some museum releases I’ve only come across here.

In Wanaka for a few nights and what better thing to do on a rainy day than tastings.
My wife did wine tasting, i did whiskey and the choices given to us by staff were spot on, absolutley fantastic.
We also got the cheeseboard which was great and very generous helpings.
Staff also recommended dining options around town, seriously coukd not have had a better experience.

Fabulous shop with a nice 4 glass tasting, a little card of information was also provided with each wine and we were told of the replacements which were local as well. Great wines, fantastic boards of cheese and chutney. Highly recommend it. My favourite was the chardonnay 😊
