Was very skeptical when I parked however the inside is very nice. Had the ribeye and margaritas. Steak was perfect and the margaritas are hand made. Great staff. Great service.

Went for the second time. Amazing. Steaks cooked perfectly. Apps and sides are great. It is probably 99% as good and flemings and 40% of the cost. Hard to beat that.

Buddies is an excellent steakhouse that's a really hidden gem. I went there long ago with friends and always loved the food. I recently stopped back and had an incredible pork loin and great experience as you have no idea from the outside how nice it is and it's far too easy to drive right by. Too many people go downtown and as one of those people that spends too much time downtown I need to make it a point to come here more often.
Also for some reason Google Maps said Buddies was closed Memorial Day and I'd hate it if they kept any business away.

This place was AMAZING. Came for my birthday on a Wednesday. Best steak place around from New Orleans to Baton Rouge. I’ve been to most of the bigger name steak places around & they don’t compare to this place. Prices are at more reasonable too. All food pictured plus crawfish bread and 2 salads cost 130$. I highly recommend the stuffed potato. Will be back soon. Only complaint is that they seemed to be understaffed so service was slow but really not a big deal bc I didn’t have anywhere else to be.

My food was delicious! I ordered the crispy chicken parmesan and the brisket egg rolls. Large portions and totally tasty. Our waitress and waiter were so cool and friendly.

The appetizer (Brisket Bombs) were over done. I ordered the Ribeye well done. It came out medium.
Waitress was very nice and kept up with our drinks very well.

The service was good but the food has really gone down the tube. The steak was very thin and burnt. It tasted awful. They no longer serve baked potatoes and the smashed up brown potatoes they do serve is awful. They did not offer or serve any bread. Very disappointed.
